The 4th International Workshop of Japan Functional Food Research Association（JAFRA）has just been opened at Oxford，an Old academic city in England，following the 2nd workshop held in Cambridge．

Thank you ver ymuch for joining us here and coming from Japan and Asian and European countries.

The previous meetings covered a variety of integrative medicines，including holistic medicine， Steiner medicine（anthroposophic medicine），homeopathy，Kneipp therapy，healing，Phytotherapy， psychotherapy，and music therapy.The present meeting is a taking up new theraples，such as hyperthermia against cancer，iridology，Ayurveda，Which is a traditional therapy in India，immune therapy for cancer，and psychiatric approach for cancer patients.Leading experts will give lectures in their respective fields．

Various forms of integrative medicine have been taking root in the world.Therapies that can be adopted may soon be limited because of different reglmes. However，it would be good to hear about Various therapies born after many years of effects and trial and error.
